Center for Policy and Reform in Health and Law
Queen Elizabeth Hospital entrance — where clinic practice meets the health system

A health-and-law institution, not a project office.

CPR exists so Malawi’s health failures are not treated as if they had no statute, and so legal reform is not written as if it had no clinic.

The Centre for Policy and Reform in Health and Law is a Malawi non-profit based in Blantyre. It brings doctors, lawyers, and advocates into one house: research, programmes, policy, and public-interest litigation.

The public website is CPR’s face and its record. Internal files, board papers, and approvals live in the staff portal — built on the same information architecture, not bolted on later as a second site.

A Malawi in which health systems and the law protect dignity, and policy is made from evidence rather than inertia.

To research, advocate, and litigate for health and legal reform in Malawi — bringing doctors, lawyers, and communities into the same conversation.

How CPR works

Evidence first

CPR does not campaign from slogans. Work starts with the statute, the clinic, and the record.

Law and medicine in the same room

Malawi’s health failures are often legal failures. CPR is built so those two professions do not talk past each other.
