CPR hosts Your Rights, Your Work, Your Future at Soche Technical College
The Centre for Policy and Reform in Health and Law (CPR) recently hosted “Your Rights, Your Work, Your Future,” a dialogue focused on law, health and protection for young professionals in Malawi.
Held at Soche Technical College on 13 February 2026, the event provided a platform for young professionals and students to engage on issues affecting their experiences in work and training environments.
Discussions centred on health and safety in workplaces and training institutions, as well as workplace rights and power dynamics affecting young professionals. The programme brought together perspectives from both the legal and health fields, highlighting the importance of understanding rights and responsibilities while navigating professional environments.
The session featured Counsel Temwa Banda, legal practitioner; Dr Matthew Mwale, medical doctor; and Tracy Kabambe, lawyer, who contributed their professional perspectives to the discussion.
